Mainstay Digital Guild ("we," "us," or "our") builds and maintains websites for local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for our text-messaging program.
Information we collect
- Business contact information — business names, phone numbers, addresses, and review information from publicly available sources (such as public business listings), used to prepare and present website previews to those businesses.
- Information you provide — details you share with us by phone, email, text message, or our client setup forms (for example, your business hours, services, and preferred contact information) so we can build and maintain your website.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store card numbers on our systems.
How we use information
We use the information above to present website previews, provide and maintain the websites and services our clients purchase, respond to inquiries, send invoices and service notices, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
SMS / text-messaging program
Program description. Mainstay Digital Guild sends one-to-one, conversational text messages — for example, a link to a website preview that you asked us to send while speaking with us on the phone, replies to questions, and service updates about your website. We do not send marketing blasts or recurring promotional campaigns.
Opt-in. You will only receive texts from us if you have consented — by asking us for information by text during a phone conversation, or by texting us first. Our sending system technically blocks messages to any number without a record of consent.
Message frequency varies by conversation and is typically only a few messages. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages — opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at c@mainstaydigitalguild.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as website hosting, payment processing, and telecommunications providers), and only as needed to provide our services or as required by law.
Data retention & security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal requirements, and we use reasonable technical measures to protect it.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information — or ask us not to contact you — at any time by emailing c@mainstaydigitalguild.com.
